Thank you for sponsoring and being a box host for HOPE Helps’ 14th Annual Kids.of HOPE Back to School Bash held on August 6th. Your generosity helped us serve over 300 children this year!
At the event children and families received everything needed for a safe, productive and successful school year, including backpacks, school supplies, scientific calculators, socks, underwear, headphones, hygiene products, a to-go lunch and much more.
They also received free eye exams and glasses from Project Right to Sight through the Oviedo/Winter Springs Lion’s Club, got to meet and greet with Star Wars characters from the 501st Legion and therapy dogs from Pawfection, received complimentary fluoride treatments from Your Oviedo Dentist, and
were able to connect with a great group of resource agencies.
At the end of the day, none of this would be possible without our amazing volunteers, and the support of our local business community, civic groups and Interfaith Coalition.
