Our Catalyst group wanted to support local youth in a tangible way so we partnered with Orange County Academy in Bithlo on May 6 and 13.  We purchased and painted 9 picnic tables and stenciled bible verses on the tops, which the students will use for lunch and other activities on a daily basis. We wanted to share God’s love with these students who face many challenges in their community.

This service project impacted and inspired us greatly, and the outcome wasn’t only in the school’s receiving of the gift, but the joy in our giving of the gift also. Orange County Academy is a small “not-for-profit” private school thru United Global Outreach and is located in Bithlo’s Transformation Village. OCA offers classes for Pre-K (starting at age 4) all the way up to assisting graduating seniors (12th grade) when applying to colleges/trade school.
