We would like to extend a warm welcome to Vicar Lukas, and his wife Rebekah. Hayden will be serving as as our Vicar for over the next year. Hayden Lukas
Originally from Royal Oak, Michigan, I am the fourth in a family of five brothers. I went through religious education at Lutheran churches and schools in the area, which helped lead me to the decision to pursue pastoral ministry. I studied philosophy at Concordia University Wisconsin, where I met my wife, Rebekah, and went on to seminary. As part of my education, I am on a yearlong internship here at St. Luke’s, while Rebekah is on internship at the Lutheran Haven next door as she pursues certification as a deaconess and an M.A. in theology. I’m a novice hiker, an amateur musician and songwriter, a Beatles fan, and enjoy spending time with my wife and friends.
