(LERT) Lutheran Early Response Teams from various congregations around the U.S. spent the last week in Hendersonville, NC recovering disaster sites from Hurricane Helene in October 2024. Chad Swanson & Bill Langston from St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Oviedo are seen here among the team. We are thankful for all of the volunteers that dedicate their time to help communities rebuild disaster.
If you are interested in becoming a LERT Volunteer or know someone who would be interested, please consider our next on-site training Saturday, August 23rd . This half day training prepares you for how to help out after a disaster. Chainsaw training is also available for current LERT members. To sign up or get more information, visit sllcs.org/LERT
