We live in a culture that has lost the true meaning of a generous life. Jesus spoke about generosity throughout his ministry in ways that now seem foreign even to those in the church. This series is designed to open our eyes to the biblical model of generous living and chart a course for our own journey of generosity.

Sunday, June 8th – Live Generously. On Pentecost, the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit. With this gift, they were able to share the Gospel with people from every nation who were around them in Jerusalem. In every worship, God uses His Word and sacraments to fill you with His love so that the Holy Spirit can work through you in the same way that He worked through the disciples.

Sunday, June 15th – Living Generously. In Acts, the disciples continually reminded the people of all that Jesus did while on this earth: Sharing scripture, healing, casting out demons, feeding the crowds and of course, rising from the grave! Jesus gave these gifts so that the people could recognize who God is and trust in Him for their salvation. From Genesis to Revelation, scripture shows us how generously God gives us all we need for this life and for eternity so that we can trust in Him too!
