The Be! Women’s Ministry hosted our annual retreat The Word Speaks: Praying the Psalms on St. Luke’s campus on March 3 & 4, 2023.
More than 80 women came to listen, discuss, pray and grow in faith together. We heard from our speaker, Connie Denninger, who “Awakened our Hearts” to the Psalms. Visit Connie’s website at visualfaithmin.org

As a result of this retreat, I am
- Extremely encouraged
- More in tuned to God’s word
- More aware I need to slow down and meditate more when in the word.
- Determined to be more focused in my prayer communication with God.

- Excited to be in the word in a NEW way!
- Blessed! God is good all the time!
Biggest take-away:
- I must get out more with other Christian women as I live on this journey of life!
- Slow down and connect to God
- Take the time to relax and be in the Word.

- I love working on my prayer journal book. Especially my lament prayer page! Thanks for being an avenue of hope and healing within me.
- These two days have been a Godsend. I have met so many lovely women. I feel blessed to be in this venue.
