Today’s world gives us plenty of seasons of concern.  We have had political seasons, health seasons, economic seasons, and seasons of global unrest.  Are you ready for a season of promise?  Would you love to hear about a time of renewal, hope, and joy?  This Advent season gives us the perfect opportunity to remember God’s promises, and fulfillment of those promises through the coming of his Son.  We remember the birth of Jesus and his return in this Season of Promise!

December 3The Promise of Arrival. Jesus is coming! And He is coming to save! Palm Sunday gives us a glimpse of Jesus riding into our lives with the promise of arrival. When He gets here what will that mean? We remember His arrival as a baby in a manger and look forward to celebrating Christmas. We remember His arrival as a king riding into Jerusalem as a God who saves. And this advent season, we remember that Jesus is coming again to usher us into His kingdom in all its fullness.
